Roda JC - PSV 1-4

The first match ever that I saw from PSV was an away match in Kerkrade. The ticket of this match I still have: for 7 guilders (now 3 euro) we could attend the match on the concrete standing stand behind the goals. Roda JC is in the mid eighties a team that is often performing just behind the traditional top 3. On this day PSV played very well with its legend Ruud Gullit who laid the foundation under a more professional and top performing PSV those days. His rushes and his headers you can't forget. There were more PSV legends on the field that day. During the match there were some troubles with PSV fans which was more common those days.

Tickets for football matches all had the same format as you can see. In those days everybody bought their ticket at the ticket counter near the stadium since we had no mobile phone or internet.
