In the Belgian highest division the title race is since many years decided in the play offs. In 2011 it is being decided between Racing Genk and RSC Anderlecht. I took my assistent from work, normally NEC supporter, with me. First we had dinner at home and then we headed to Genk, not so far from home. Already before the match the atmosphere was great and the people from Limburg drank their Cristal Alken beers in high volume. On the pitch there are 3 players that would become a super star many years later: Kevin de Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois at Racing Genk and Romelu Lukaku at Anderlecht. The home team wins the match and a few weeks later the Belgian championship.
