Santiago Bernabéu

Real Madrid - Real Sociedad 4-1

LaLiga, 14 February 2026

One of the must see stadiums is definitely Bernabéu. So I decided a few weeks before the carnival weekend to buy flight tickets and Premium match tickets. On Saturday morning we flew from Brussels to Madrid early in the morning. After a walk through the center of Madrid we were around 2 1/2 hours before the match in the Bernabeu market where food and drinks where included. We started with oisters and sushi but there was much more. Around 45 minutes before the match we went to our seats in the top of the Fonda Sur. The view in the top of the stadium was amazing. We were flabbergasted! What a over the top stadium is this with its large screens on the whole roof. Real played well so the "hala Madrid" could be heard 4 times. Despite that: Bernabéu is a great stadium but the atmosphere is not outstanding probably because of the many tourists that came to Real. On Sunday and Monday we enjoyed other parts of the city with spring already starting in Spain while it was still snowing in our own country. A trip not to forget for me and my son.

Tickets:

The match was not sold out and because I wanted to be sure of tickets I bought the relative expensive premium tickets with hospitality via the club including food and drinks in the Bernabéu market 2 1/2 hours before the match.
