's-Hertogenbosch
- De Vliert
BVV Den Bosch - Ajax 0-3
Eredivisie, 15 May 1989
It is Kees, an older man from my village, who started the flame in me of visiting football matches. I could also have named this site after him. He gave his PSV season ticket a few times to me and my father in the season 1988/89. Coming from the Den Bosch area himself he also took us to FC Den Bosch which was in the late eighties and early nineties a few years called BVV Den Bosch. At the time they always played in the Eredivisie. De Vliert was not yet modernized and had a cinder track around the pitch and round concrete stands without seats behind the goals. On one of these stands we were standing for the match against Ajax. Some people carried a radio because on this day PSV could win the Eredivisie title at the same moment in Groningen. Which they did. But of course Kees and I were happy with the title.
