The stadium of "Eindhoven" is the football stadium the closest to my current home but I have only been their once. In 1997 I was living in the Hague and on my way from Limburg to The Hague I visited the club at the Aalsterweg. I was sitting next to the parents of Fernando Ricksen, who just had made the transfer from Fortuna Sittard to AZ. Of course the parents of Fernando were very proud of their son who would develop into a real legend at Glasgow Rangers. In 2011 Ricksen got the diagnosis ALS. He died in 2019. Every time Fernando Ricksen is in the news again I remember this match in Eindhoven. That's all what I can remember.
