France

Lens is a small former minery town with only 1 attraction: every two weeks 38,000 people come to the stadium from all places around the region.

The Vélodrome is true bucketlist stadium with his stands and roof as waves. It has one of the most fanatic crowds in France.

In 2002 I lived in Paris and saw 4 matches with Ronaldinho but without titles. After 20 years I came back to PSG with a lot of titles and the famous MNM triangle.

During my time in Paris it was great to see besides PSG also a match of the reigning world champion in this famous stadium.

Lille is only a 2 1/2 hour drive from the south of the Netherlands and a nice city to visit. The stadium of the neighbors in Lens is however more impressing.
