Paris Saint Germain - Olympique Lyonnais 2-0

From the end of 2001 to early 2003 I lived a year and a half in Paris for work. During this time I visited the Parc des Princes four times against Rangers, Guingamp, Auxerre and Lyon. In those days, where Lyon dominated Ligue 1 with 7 championships in a row, it was Ronaldinho who was the big star in Paris. From my appartment in the 7th Arondissement near the Eiffel Tower I had a great opportunity of vising all the highlights and nice places of Paris. When I left the city the biggest compliment I could get was: "tu es devenu un vrai Parisien". And yes, I became a real Parisien these days and fan of PSG. I enjoyed the nice atmosphere in the Parc des Princes and at this cold winter day I went there with my French colleagues Laurent and Philippe. As an underdog PSG beat the champions from Lyon 2-0.  Both goals where scored after a freekick from Ronaldinho.

Twenty years later I went back to Paris with my family. We didn´t plan to go to PSG but a few hours before the match there were affordable tickets available in resale. As a surprise I bought them for my son for his first football match abroad. It was cold but a good atmosphere in the Parc des Princes. Just in front of us the three top players MNM were exercising free kicks:  Mbappé - Neymar - Messi.
