In the summer of 2021 we were supposed to go on holiday to Wales and London but due to the corona pandemia we canceled that trip. What remained was a voucher for the ferry and a hotel in London. Since our daughter didnot want to go by ferry to the UK my son and I went alone for a trip to London. Of course we did all the London highlights but a Premier League match should be part of the trip as well. Since it was the easiest to get tickets for West Ham we went to this former Olympic Stadium. We were early in the stadium that was very silent. The speaker thought he was attending a funeral probably. The match always starts with ""I'm blowing bubbles" sung by the crowd. One minute before half time we left for a toilet visit and a drink and at that moment the Hammers scored their goal out of the blue. Both West Ham and Arsenal played a very bad match and there was hardly any atmosphere. Our first every Premier League match became such a big disappointment. A match in the Championship would probably have been a better choice.
