It is only an half an hour drive from home to Lommel and since the club is promoted to the highest division in Belgium this summer, it is worth wile a visit. Especially when reigning Belgian champions Club Brugge bring a visit to this small town near the border, famous for its Sahara. One hour before the match I arrive near the stadium and park my car in the neighbourhood of the small Soeverein stadium which is sold out for the day. I have a ticket for the small stand next to the main stand which does not cover the full length of the pitch. So on the left and right there are 2 smaller stands with seats. But it has rained a lot and the trees have dropped  a lot of dirt on the seats which are so near to each other that nobody is able to sit and remains standing.  The stadium is a typical Belgian old school stadium with limited facilities (for the toilets you can choose a tree). But with a full guest block in a sold out stadium there is a nice atsmosphere. Despite a good start of Bruges, the home team believes in a miracle and starts to play better and better. An own goal enforced by the Italian/German star Tresoldi is the only goal of the match. In the second half one goal of Tresoldi is canceled and two good chances of Lommel missed.
