Our 2026 summer holiday we spent in the UK. We travel through Wales and ended in London. In the weekend the Community Shield should have been played at Wembley, which I hoped to visit, The Weeknd had his concert. So my son and I went there. A week before we visited in Swansea the Carabao Cup match. Swansea itself was not worth wile visiting but the fish and chips at Hiks were great. In the stadium there was a nice atmosphere ("Come on, you Swans!" despite the fact that one of the stands behind the goals was closed for the day. The "Swansea, Swansea" song is also nice. The home team played very well in the first half and created a lot of very good chances but how it often works in football: the Blues used their first and last huge chance. Jack's Army could go home after 90 minutes and the Blues celebrate Englands 0-1 win in Wales.
